Shred Fest 2022 Recap

Shred Fest 2022 was a great success! The event was held on Saturday morning, May 21st from 8am – 10am at Lapham Elementary School. Although the event didn’t start until 8am, we had cars already starting to line up at 7:30am. Luckily we were prepared with two Pellitteri Data Destruction trucks and volunteers from Madison Credit Union and the Madison Fire Department Credit Union.

In total we raised $210 and over 254lbs of food for the River Food Pantry. Not bad for our first shred event since the COVID pandemic.

We enjoyed getting out in the community and providing this service to our members. In total we shredded 3.32 tons of paper. All of that paper will get recycled and become cardboard boxes, brown paper grocery bags or other brown paper products.

Thank you for all of those that came out and supported the event by donating money or food and goods to the River Food Pantry. The River Food Pantry serves over 1,000 households every week with ready to go meals, groceries and hygiene products. If you would like to donate goods, money or time, please contact them at: https://www.riverfoodpantry.org/ways-to-support/

We look forward to seeing everyone next year for Shred Fest 2023!
