MCU Hit a Hole-In-One for Two Charities this Fall

Madison Credit Union was proud to be a sponsor at two golf charities this fall, the MPPOA Annual Golf Tournament and the La Follette HS Chris Stafslien Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament.

MPPOA Annual Golf Tournament

On October 4th, Madison Credit Union participated in the Madison Professional Police Officer’s Association’s (MPPOA) Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Every year the Association holds the benefit in support of a different charity. This year’s beneficiary was the Madison Community Policing Foundation (MCPF).

MCPF works to grow the relationship between local police and our communities. In their words, they “support both financially and with volunteers any community policing activities or events which bring police officers, youth, adults and elderly together.” Some examples of their initiatives are funding for community picnics and dinners organized by the police or for hosting movie nights at community parks.

As sponsors, Madison Credit Union sponsored a hole, volunteered at the event, and had two players, our very own Scott Reiter, teller extraordinaire, and MCU Board Secretary, Tom Sakash. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed supporting our community!

La Follette High School Scholarship Golf Tournament

The last week of September marked the La Follette High School Chris Stafslien Scholarship Fund golf tournament. Madison Credit Union was proud to sponsor a hole and help fill the gift bags for all 72 players.
