We’re excited to join credit unions worldwide in celebrating International Credit Union Day on October…
Update to Mobile App 7.0
Starting Monday, November 11th, all online banking and mobile app users will be required to enter a one-time authorization code. This enhanced security feature is designed to keep your Madison Credit Union accounts safe and secure. For more information on the new authentication protocol visit read our article: Multi-Factor Authentication is Coming!
IMPORTANT: Make sure to update your MCU mobile app to 7.0 before Monday, November 11th to ensure that you will still have online access to your accounts.
If you are unsure which version of the app you are using, you can find that by looking at the home screen. If you see the two widgets below, you are using mobile app 7.0. If you don’t, then you are using an older version of that app and it needs to be updated.
Support Center Widget
Members will be able to easily contact the credit union by in-app messaging, email, or phone with just a push of a button. In the spring of 2025 we will be adding text messaging to the credit union as an additional method of contact. This section also includes an app reboot feature. If a user clicks on “Having Issues?… Reset App Data”, the app will be cleared of the members data. It will be as though the app had just been downloaded.
Member Notices Widget
Our new Member Notice section will be reserved to inform members of important upcoming or current credit union notices. Those might include holiday closures, software updates, or popular scams members should be aware of.
The final new section on our Home screen, users will see Popular Forms. These include easy-to-access ways for members to do some of the most requested adjustments to their Madison Credit Union account. If there is something that you would like to see, let us know!
