Security Upgrade in Online Banking

It’s Me 247 Online Banking underwent a security upgrade on March 11, 2018. The upgrade expanded the limit on the length for your online banking password from 10 to 256 characters. Lengthening your password will improve your online security.

If you are currently in the habit of typing more than 10 characters for your password, this change may require you to update your password. Beginning March 11, those characters are counted as part of your password, but will now be considered incorrect (because before March 11, online banking only recognized the first 10 characters of your password!)

Update your password

Now is a great time for everybody to update their online banking password. If your password is 10 characters or less, log on to online banking and change your password to something longer and more complex than your current password.  For those with passwords greater than 10 characters, log on to online banking using only the first 10 characters of your password and update your password using up to 256 characters.

If you get a message in online banking that tells you there is an issue with your password, click on the “I forgot my password” link. Follow the prompts to create a new password.  If you need assistance creating a new password, contact the credit union at 608-266-4750.
