Board of Directors Election

On February 20, 2017, the Board of Directors election will be held during MCU’s annual meeting. Calls for nominations were requested in the Fall 2016 newsletter and John Haas was nominated to serve an 8th term. Because his seat is not contested, the nominating committee chairperson will take a voice vote for unanimous consent at the annual meeting.

Haas worked for the City of Madison Parks Department for 36 years and was a Maintenance Supervisor when he retired in 2004. He has served on the Madison Credit Union board since 1991 and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board. Haas says he is familiar with the financial goals of many MCU members and will work with staff to see that these goals are met. He wants to see MCU continue to grow and to serve our members in meeting their financial goals.
