Credit unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives that are run by its members. That means that profits made are returned to members as member benefits, which means lower interest rates on loans, higher interest rates on savings, free financial assistance and more.
You are eligible to join Madison Credit Union if you live or work in one of the following counties in Wisconsin:
- Or if you are an employee or elected official of the City of Madison, Madison Metropolitan School District or the County of Dane
- Or if you are immediate family (parent, spouse or child) of a MCU member, or you are a relative living in the same household as a member.
The more services you use, the more free services you get. Our membership rewards program gives rewards based on a tier level system. Bronze for beginner, then Silver, Gold and finally Platinum. With each tier reached new free services are available.
Madison Credit Union wants to see its members soar. That is why we offer resources to help our members feel happy and financially stable.
