Official Rules

  1. NO PURCHASE, ACCOUNT OPENING, LOAN, PAYMENT, OR OBLIGATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. OPENING AN ACCOUNT OR OBTAINING A LOAN WITH MADISON CREDIT UNION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
  2. ELIGIBILITY: You will receive one automatic entry, during the promotion period, when you 1) become a new Madison Credit Union member, 2) open your l” MCU checking account, 3) sign up for Bill Pay, 4) sign up for E-Statements, 5) close a new MCU loan or line of credit, or 6) refinance a loan from another financial institution to MCU. The automatic entry will be submitted in the name of the primary account holder. No automatic entrant will be entered more than once. All other entries (“manual entry”) are open to legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age and older at the time of Promotion entry. Manual Entries will be entered into the drawing to win upon completion and submission of a manual entry form that can be obtained at Madison Credit Union, 949 E. Washington Ave., Madison, WI. Entries must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. CT on October 20, 2017. One entry per person for entries that are not automatic; no photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries accepted; the Credit Union is not responsible for lost or incomplete entries. One manual entry or one automatic entry per person during the entire Promotion period is allowed. Employees of Madison Credit Union and members of the Credit Union’s Board of Directors and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to enter the Promotion. Immediate family includes spouse, parents, siblings, children, stepparents, stepchildren, grandparents and grandchildren.
  3. PROMOTION TIMING/DESCRIPTION: The Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. on August 1, 2017 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on October 20, 2017 (“Promotional Period”).
  4. ODDS: Estimated odds of winning the prize depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Only one entry per person is allowed.
  5. PRIZE DESCRIPTION: Winner will receive two (2) tickets to the Wisconsin Badger Football Game on November 11, 2017, a 2-night stay (November 10, 2017 and November 11, 2017) at the AC Marriott, a $200 Gift Card to the University Bookstore, and a $100 Gift Card to Eno Vino. Prize winners may be required to provide their taxpayer identification number to Madison Credit Union, which may be reported to the Internal Revenue Service.
  6. DETERMINATION OF WINNER: A potential winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about October 23, 2017 from among all eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified by telephone or U.S. Mail by October 27, 2017. If winner does not respond, is found to be ineligible or fails to return any required releases within seven (7) days of prize notification, the prize will be forfeited. The prize must be claimed in person at Madison Credit Union, 949 E. Washington Ave., Madison, WI 53703. All other eligible entrants will be entered into a second drawing to receive one of eight $50 gift cards to Madison, WI area restaurants. All decisions are in the sole and absolute discretion of Madison Credit Union. Prize is non-transferable, non-assignable and may not be substituted.
  7. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: EACH CONTESTANT AND THEIR HEIRS, PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES, AND NEXT OF KIN RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS MADISON CREDIT UNION AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS, AS WELL AS THE OWNERS AND LESSORS AND LESSEES OF ANY PREMISES IN WHICH PROMOTION ACTIVITIES ARE HELD, FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LOSSES, LIABILITIES AND DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ANY LOSS, INJURY, OR DAMAGES, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES OR OTHERWISE, THAT MAY BE CAUSED OR CLAIMED TO BE CAUSED AS A RESULT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION OR THE RECEIPT OF A PRIZE.
  8. GENERAL: By entering and participating in the Promotion, each participant grants Madison Credit Union the right to use their name and image for promotional purposes related to the Promotion. Participants may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity release. Participants will not be compensated or reimbursed for video production, credit union publicity, or public appearances. All participants accept and agree to be bound by these Promotion Rules. Any violation or non-compliance with these rules will result in disqualification. 9. WINNER INFORMATION: To request the name of the prize winner, send a stamped, self­ addressed envelope along with a written request by November 11, 2017 to: Madison Credit Union, 949 E.
